Thanks for the pics Bill! And we are glad to see your website back up and running. It’s funny how this site has become such a part of your lives and family identity that it seems like you have really disappeared when it disappears. Finding the error message on your webpage is the cyber-equivalent of going to your house, finding the front door open, with nobody home and all of your stuff missing. It’s creepy.

Bret, good analogy. It was creepy having it gone for me, too. We are really lucky that this failure happened after I had a backup built into my development system. A month ago before I launched this, I wouldn't have had all of these files in place. Dreamhost lost both my main site and my backup repository, but I had redundant copies on my desktop and laptop. If I had taken my laptop to California with us I would have been able to restore it from there.

Priscilla, I am glad you liked the pictures. We really had a lot of fun. Soon enough you too will be in Des Moines. We returned to swaths of mosquitoes. It is quite remarkable. When the dogs go out in the back yard hundreds of mosquitoes swarm around them. The spraying should bring down the population soon. We look forward to seeing you guys. :)
